The Seven Vaults of Endremias (by Pravus)

[Zone Name]: The Seven Vaults of Endremias

[Difficulty]: 9

[Overview]: It is whispered among the nomads of the Great Eastern Desert that a terrible abomination dwells in an underground stronghold beneath the sands. The once arch-mage of Astirin, Endremias, learned of the impending doom of the kingdom and sought a way to escape. He almost succeeded, but was foiled by his own designs, and is rumored to now haunt his underground palace-crypt, consisting of seven vaults, as a creature terrifying to behold and that fears absolutely nothing.

Directions

Once you get to the zone, via either Tunnels of Kzaarim or the Underdark of Astirin, you must make your way into the actual vaults. If you use overview, this is generally easy. Just phase rooms until you find a room with a # as the symbol. That is where you want to go. Otherwise, just phase rooms. Outside of the vaults is the Scyllith. He loads a bw ring and a trident(3dam 1str icelance). Also he is in an underwater area, and guards the vaults entrance.

Once you get into the vaults, you are going to have to kill the guardians blocking Lord Makareth in. Lord Makareth is blind and will die if attacked by the guardians. He will ask you to help him, and you help him by saying directions such as north, south, east, west. Your goal is to get him to the far north room where there is a pool. Once he is there, he will load a portal to the next vault.

If you look at the pools, you will notice they gives you hints. So in this vault, look at the pool, and it will tell you which direction you will need to go once you gain the key. There are 4 portals, each with a door before it. In order to gain access to them, you must kill Gorderos.

After you enter the correct portal, you will be at the Vault of Bitter Ashes. The goal in this one is to clean the pipes. Lord Raogrim, however, is there to stop you. He loads a fshield helmet, and a key to the doors you will need to open.

So once you get his key, the doors from where he was originally are en, and wn. Either way you go, you have to make the pipes work properlly. You will see this message once the pipe is working propperly. "The right/left pipe appears to be free of ash and working properly now."

Afterwords, the portal will appear 3n of where Raogrim was. You will then be at The Vault of Sages' Memories. Here, Rkanias will be. He loads the staff of refraction, treads of erebus, and a key to the doors in this area. He has reflect on at all times, so be warned. The goal here is to put the books in the correct bookshelf. The books load in different rooms however, making this the challenge. Each books name will be a hint. Such as "part of beast", that would be east. To find which bookshelf is the correct one, look for the room that loops into itself. The room has a mob in it, so you should be able to do this with scan. After you are done, the portal will appear where you first appeared in this vault.

Enter this portal, then go north. You will find a ghostly mob who will tell you about the rest of the zone. Now, you need nosummon for the next part, so put it on then go north until you get to the hierosphinx. The Hierosphinx will give you a riddle, and to advance you must say the correct phrase. Hierosphinx will load a dashtsnipe, snakeskin quiver, and aenigma. Once he is dead, go north and enter the portal. Once inside the portal, go north and type look pool. This will take you to the Vault of Four Deaths. Here you will encounter 1 of 4 random demons to advance to the last part of the zone. They each load different items, and I will let you figure out which load which. Once you kill them, a portal will open. Enter it to get to the Vaults of Endremias.

BELL

In my opinion, this is where the zone gets the difficulty level from. Endremias loads a vshroud robe that is not usable by people, a dragon sapphire amulet, a heartstone ring, and a gienahem. His prog when you flee is to follow, but he also hunts and drinks from the pools in the area, restoring his hp. He has absorb, which makes him a difficult foe unless you have create animal or howl or 4 clones by your side. After this, the zone is done.
