[Overview]: Far in the northern wastes stands a formidable black peak at the very edge of the known world. From the top of this cold, jagged mountain, a great stronghold was carved out of the very rock to serve as the palace of the Witch-King who once ruled the lands of the north with an iron fist. The name of this awesome structure was Wraithstone, but today only a lofty, ruined tower is what remains of the fortress; the tyrannical Witch-King was overthrown long ago by the snow elven tribes and the black manse all but demolished.
Directions
Once you enter wraithstone head up to the top of the tower located nwu from the entrance. You will need one peryton hide for every member of your group, so pick these up somewhere in the tower. There are many DTs spread throughout the tower area, so be careful!
On the third level you will find a locked door to the north. This door is phasable, the key loads on the Warden inside. Kill the warden then say OKAY to make Middus the gnome follow you. Take him to the entrance and he will give you an invis wand and some clues about how to get past the guard to the lower levels.
On the northeast side of the fourth level is Scarmaelon the Infernal (the flaming, black demon-scimitar known as, 'Feuertaufe'). The key is found on Lothiatlan in the lower levels, however the door can be phased.
Towards the top of the tower you will find the Ice Golem. The key he loads unlocks the gate in his room. Start killing Perytons until you see Cahifseus shout that you have killed his warriors. Kill Cahifseus (Pelt), he will have a key and a cylinder. The key unlocks the chest in the very top which loads a hard, black ter'angreal shaped like a shrunken head.
At this point return to the entrance. Wear a peryton hide and make sure you are invisible. Go north, east, down. Gaolgnir will let you through the entrance to the lower levels.
There are several mobs to kill on this level. Onilaseth the Scout (a demon-crafted, black long bow, 'Voidradiant', the Boots of Enduring Expedition, the color-shifting hooded Cloak of Illusions). Onilaseth also loads a key that will open the door to the mines. There is also Lothiatlan the Shaman (a staff of blackened aspen topped with a demon skull). Lothiatlan also loads the key to Scarmaelon's room on the fourth level of the tower.
With Onilaseth's key you can open the tunnels on the northern side of the lower level. At the end of the tunnel is Hzingrus the Duergar Taskmaster (a black, hissing bracelet shaped like a coiled asp). He loads a compass that can be used to help find the demon in Ngranek. There is also a hidden tunnel in the mines that leads to Ngranek.
On this level you will need to find the Flesh Golem. He holds the key to the larders. Once you have the key go to the northwest side and unlock the door. There will be a canister of sleep poison on the ground. Take it and put it in the cauldron. NOTE - This program is broken and usually does not work. You cannot do the zone if the Wendigo does not go to sleep. Head to the northeast side and go down. Kill the Black Wolf elite warriors, or they will come assist the next mob you kill. Assuming Wendigo went to sleep, go east and kill Crendach ( hide-bound shield painted with the image of a raven). Crendach loads a cylinder that matches the one from earlier. Go west from Crendach and put the cylinder of dark crystal into the quickfrost. This will give you a key that you need later.
Head back up to the top of the tower. Put the cylinder you got from Crendach into the brazier at the very top. You will get another key from this cylinder, then head back to the lower levels.
Find the tunnel of the entombed. From the cauldron go south, east, down, south, down. Here you will find the Bone Naga (crown of bone). Continue past all the hidden life forms until you get to the anvil. Put the warped, firey golden key and the warped, frozen golden key on the anvil. By fusing these keys together you create a bizarre, twinned golden key which unlocks the gate at the anvil.
Inside the grand hall of Wraithstone is the Throne of Bones (Pelt). Once you kill the Throne of Bones a crack will appear in the ground. Enter the crack and you will find Civonak the Thaumaturgist (Spurs of Zephyr, Nekrolatreia). The end.
