Kill and loot Elementals and Winter Wraiths.
You will need one plasm (globule of quickfrost plasm) and one cinder (a chunk of Wraithstone cinder
).
Head down to Forbidden Archives at bottom, use key from Dreadnaught at beginning of Trials to get to King of the Black Vault.
At ~30-40% King moves into portal phasing in and out Finbulvetr.
When King is active (King phases into reality), it eats charms and spells.
Kill Finbulvetr when Finbulvetr phases into reality.
Get the blade Finbulvetr drops on ground.
King of the Black Vault loads:
a silver dragonscale bracelet studded with sapphires
a billowing crimson cloak bearing the image of a dead tree
'wreath immortal evergreen leaves laureate ljosalfar'??
Head back up to Volundr the Smith (forge)
Put cinder and plasm in the forge, put the blade in the forge, and the ore from trial 2.
You put a mysterious glowing ore in a hot, dwarven forge.
Volundr the Smith begins working the forge, creating a magnificent sword!
Volundr the Smith says, 'With this sword, I can give hope to another who is being used by evil.'
Volundr the Smith says, 'Please, take it to this man who has forgotten his own abilities.'
Volundr the Smith drops the Sword of Kings.
You get the Sword of Kings.
